Behavior Issues
Problem
Cutter Head tries to keep going once it reaches the Left or Right side.
Solution
This is probably related to the Limit Switches. Look for loose connections or otherwise damaged switches or wiring.
Problem
When powered On the Light comes on but it beeps three times and halts, nothing displays on the screen.
Solution
Possibly a Loose Keyboard Cable
Problem
Blade drags cutting where it's not supposed to and NOT cutting when it should.
Solution
The Vertical Limit switches are Leaf springs and these are probably binding. Carefully remove the cover of the cutter carriage and pinch the upper and lower Leaf springs together.
Problem
Mat not loading. The motors spin but don't suck in the Mat. (Experienced on Second Generation Hardware)
Solution
OPen the case and find the Large Cog and Small Cog on the side and confirm they are engaging with each other. Push them back together and use a little drop of glue (probably a super glue of some kind) to keep it in place.
